Not
many people think that a lizard (or a snake or a fish)
could have a personality but Sancho will dispute that! After giving up my
feline companion, I was very lonely. Sancho let me know I was not alone. For
instance, if I am typing on the computer and I look over to him, there he'll
be, smiling in his own lizard way.
Sancho is over 2 feet long, and will keep growing until he reaches 3-4 feet.
His diet consists of: crickets, canned cat food, king meal worms, snails,
chicken (just like you and I eat it), as well as some rodents and other
various food items.
Sancho can hardly wait until Summer comes along, so that he can indulge in his
favorite activity, the park! I put his lizard leash on him, and he gets to
run outside and explore. This lizard may typically look slow and fat, but let
me tell you, he is a fast runner! I am going to be getting him one of the
retractable dog leashes pretty soon!
He is a great lizard and I am committed to caring for him for the rest of his
life.
