My
name is Tanqueray, Tango for short, and I'm a Moluccan Cockatoo.
Commadore
sent me, and he has a whole bunch of my pictures on his site. His
dad, Evan, created all sorts of buttons using my beautiful face, so I
know I'm special. You'll notice my face all over the place because I
am famous. Yes folks, that is really me in those pictures. I am the
most beautiful bird on the premises, just ask me and I'll tell ya.
Who else holds his head up and can fluff up as big and pretty. Thank
you, I knew you'd agree. And my mom let me have my own website.
Mom and Dad think this is their home, but I've got news for them!!!!
This is where I live and where I rule the roost! Mom has made a
wonderful website to introduce all our family and let me be the
spokesperson. So if you have a little time to check out the site,
there's a lot of info and more pictures of me. And you'll be able to
see a couple of the wonderful buttons that Commadore's dad made for
me, of me!
Tango's Mom: Moluccans are pretty much in demand for their color
(salmon pinkish with a darker salmon colored crest) and for their
personality. Cockatoos are super loveable and the Moluccans are just
big enough to squeeze like a pillow! Taken care of, and treated
kindly, Moluccans make wonderful and very faithful pets. Tango was
our second bird about eight years ago, and now we are full fledged avian
breeders, with everything from the smallest of conures, all the way
up to the Scarlet Macaws. He has introduced us to a whole new world.
And we love him very much!
