is Ripken, a Nanday Conure. He's about five years
old. This is a favorite photo of ours because we caught him in
mid-wave to us. Ripken has all sorts of talking tricks. If you
make a kissing sound he'll say "give me a kiss." If you ask
what does Jackie (our dog) say, Ripken will say
"bow-wow-wow-wow." Ripken has not quite taken to my wife,
but he absolutely loves me and follows me around the ground.
