My
pet is KISS. I got him when he was only six weeks old. He was all
white with black around his eyes. He had seven legs. Not legs as in body
parts, but winnings. There has to be at least five rabbits and three
exhibitors in the class. Getting a leg on a dwarf hotot is very hard
because they are so rare. He was a grand champion. I love my KISS. He
died the day after Thanksgiving. He suffered from a heart attack.
KISS only weighed one pound and fifteen ounces, and he always won.
Everywhere we went. This is not why he was my favorite rabbit. He loved
to be cuddled. He loved everybody he met. All of the other breeders
thought he was adorable. He had such a great attitude about life. He was
always happy. He didn't spray like bucks are known to do. He never bit
anyone. I named him after the band, KISS because of the black around his
eyes. But after a while he was KISS because he was so sweet and gentle
like a kiss is supposed to be. When people visited our rabbitry, they
always went straight to his cage. Everybody handled him, and he always
wanted to come out and play. I miss him and so do my family, friends,
and fellow breeders.
In loving memory of KISS.
