Angela
is our lovely Chilean Rose Tarantula. She's definitely a female, and
quite active. Angela, like most of our pets, was adopted. She had been sent
to the local animal control shelter after her owner died. The folks at the
shelter guessed her age as somewhere between two and five. Based on her size, we
think she's closer to five. She's a healthy and active tarantula who loves her
cage enrichments, climbing and stretching. She adores the sunshine and goes
out of her way to find the sunniest part of her cage. She is an interesting
pet to have, and we were glad to become her new home after she was left
without one through no fault of her own. And beauty, as they say, is in the
eye of the beholder, so we can say Angela is beautiful to us!
