Hiya'll!
Here's my grumpy-for-a-while, Zephyra who looked like this just a few minutes after her bath! I think it would be sooo funny, cute, fun to see all those wet kittens/cats pictures....who want to be next!?

He's sitting in the sun, trying to dry off.
Wet kitties look so cute! Wish I had a scanner, I have some great pix on Neko hanging onto the bar in the bathtub in our old apartment!!
There is nothing more *funnier* than a soaking wet cat. When I first got boo boo kitty (all black like Gina's kitty) he jumped right into the tub while i was bathing. he kept walking along the side of the tub and dipping his double paws into the suds, but i never imagined the three month old little mischeif maker would dive right in!! my heart sunk, and i panicked, thinking "oh no oh no the little black kitten isnt gonna float up" but he did!! and he scattered about the bathroom like NOTHING happened!! And theres mommy crying while in her birthday suit!!!
Cute pics everyone. :) My cats don't get baths so I don't have any pictures.
Hehe! Thanks for posting those pictures, really enjoy 'em, hope more will come! Poor all wet ones, we just love to get them clean...:)
kak, I'm curious why you don't bath your cuties? We shouldn't?
I should probably have started a new thread with this question but on the subject of bathing them...how do they respond? My big guy, Kunan, will tuck his head under the chin of the "holder", one paw on each shoulder, and hang on for dear life. Cries a little but no big deal. After one of his baths, we opened the bathroom door and his sister was sitting outside in the hall. Evidently he didn't smell right anymore 'cause she fuzzed up, freaked out and ran like heck away from him. Furr (RB) used to require three people to wash him: a body holder, a washer, and a head holder. He broke away once and bit my father-in-law, giving him blood poisoning. Come to think of it, I think he only got one more human assisted bath after that.
Oh Kelly that picture of Basil is just too cute - poor furboy I bet he wasns't a happy camper - just look at the size of him!!
We (me and Diane and Elizabeth) once had to bathe Ketchum - notice the word 'once'!! The great hulking brute suddenly shrivelled into a mouse sized furboy! We couldn't stop laughing - boy was he mad! Not only had we dunked him - but we'd laughed at him too. Then as he dried his huge fluffy body appeared again :D :D
(Not one of us thought to take a pic., figure we were too busy having hysterics!)

the onlt time that i bathed a cat was when the late Mr.Flufy got older and dint keep the area behind his tail clean. PU I wondered what smelt so Bad! I had to take him in the laundry tub as the groomer didnt want a messy cat and washed the mess away! PU! He didnt enjoy that but it was neccesary!
Since my cats are indoor only cats, they really don't get dirty. I have used baby wipes on their bottoms when they've needed it. I groom them and spray a leave in conditioner on them that makes them smell like babies. They also clean themselves very well so I don't have to worry about bathing them.Quote:
