We're still thinking of you and Raven, Jess! HUGS!!
Just letting you all know I lit another candle and I'm still keeping the faith. I'm sure Raven is going to be okay. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} :)
Thank you so very much for the continued thoughts and prayers. I can't help but feel that this week is the big one, if she gets through this week and Friday's checkup still looking good, I will feel more able to take a deep breath and really believe we probably beat it. Her mouth and tissues inside change a bit daily as they settle and heal, and sometimes it is hard not to panic at a bit of lumpy tissue here or a reddish tissue there. But for the most part I still feel it looks pretty consistent with how it did this weekend. I can easily see the sutures in her mouth now and the margins of the surgery as the swelling has gone down. She doesn't seem to need her pain medicine now and she is getting close to finishing her antibiotics. She has (dissolvable) sutures in the back of the wound area and up front under her lip.
I'm attaching a few close-up shots of her mouth. I will attach them because they are very close up, she was panting after having run and they are a bit drooly, so I didn't want to force anyone to look close who didn't want to ;). The first two are from the 28th and the last from yesterday. It appears the same this morning (which is good!)
ETA: Here's a prettier picture too from yesterday

Her owie looks very clean and seems to be healing well....she just exudes life and vibrancy!!
She's looking fantastic. It's cool to see the surgery site up that close. Looks like they did a great job! Thanks for keeping us updated.
Just lighting another candle and letting you know I'm still thinking of all of you. Raven looks great, Jess. I really think she's going to be fine from here on out. Take care. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} :)
It is so good to see her looking so dog goned happy! I hope the next checkup goes well. I'll be glad when you feel you can relax a little. Just keep doing what you're doing because you're doing a great job! I'm really happy to see that last pic.
I got LES looking at the pictures of her mouth. Such a young baby girl shouldn't have to go through this already in her young life!
I just know she's going to beat this Jess!!
{{hugs}} to you and the crew!
Jess, these pictures just get more beautiful everytime you post.
She is so happy with you. :D
Looks like she's healing quite nicely:)
I'm glad you posted that beautiful picture of her! You guys are always on my mind.
(((HUGS)))
Keeping you and Raven in my thoughts.

Ravens mouth looks like it's healing nicely. I am still praying for her.
For so many days I was not sure if that bit of swelling and reddened tissue on the edge of the wound margin would begin to grow and look cancerous (the way it happened after her first surgery) or if it would go down and improve. I felt it would probably happen one way or another this week, so I have been watching it like a hawk with my heart hammering every time I looked. Well yesterday it finally seemed to turn a corner.. for the better! I am feeling more (cautiously) optimistic finally. If the vet is pleased with tomorrow's check I will feel even better. I will attach a photo from April 30 (Monday) when it was reddened and more swollen and I was so worried about it, and then the shots I got yesterday where it is definitely improved! The 'stuff' in the wound are the sutures dissolving and losing their color, it looks a bit like hair or plastic stuck there but it is the sutures dissolving. Feeling so much more hopeful now!
Oh, it looks great!! Way to go Raven (and Jessica)!! I knew you could do it. I can't wait to hear what the doctor says tomorrow. I will keep hoping for a good review. :D
