... but it seems he's changed his mind.

    Mum, my feet are cold!

Would you believe she actually wanted me to sit in that stuff outside!

He says - ok, I'm finished with my business, let me back in the warm house NOW!!
I love the last picture of him.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Bob may think it's exiting to go in, but surely not for more than two minutes.

It's nice to inside a warm house again, isn't it Bob!

Chris, I can't view Photobucket videoes anymore, so didn't see what he did.

Thanks Chris, I could view that one. Now I see what it was he wanted... he wanted YOU to come out and play with him.

He is such a sweet boy!

Oh poor Bob! He doesn't look too impressed, does he? I thought dogs were excited to be out in the snow.

I was wondering how deep you were in snow, Chris. You look as though you might have a similar amount to us. It has lasted for three weeks now with no end in sight. This is unheard of!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

It really is very odd that he didn't want to stay out in the snow because normally no matter what it is like outside he wants out. I think there may be two explanations.
One. Now he's getting older, like me, he prefers home comforts to the cold outdoors.
Two, the most likely. The snow he has experienced before has not been as deep and he is kind of wary of it. I think he'd be quite happy with it on a walk, which is, unfortunately, something we can't do, well, I can't, ergo he can't either.

Karen, where I live the snow had been reasonably light until we had this downfall which shows no sign of shifting. The problem earlier was the ice, the paths like glass, roads too, bar the main ones which have been kept gritted. Also living on hills/mountainside doesn't help, there is no way up here for vehicles without going up some hill or another. On Tuesday evening my dil had to walk a quarter of the way home because the bus wouldn't come any further. It's not so bad for drivers today though, at least on the well used roads, or so my veg delivery man tells me anyway.

Oh, well, hey ho, it'll end sometime.

To all non UK persons. Why can't the UK deal with snow?
