Did you know that the Scottish Fold is the unofficial mascot of many libraries in the US and the UK? And for many years a major distributor of library supplies has had the Scottish Fold in its advertisements?

As for your habit of spitting your dry food on the floor, it seems many cats (mine included) routinely do this. I think because the food is "dry" - I never saw this behavior with wet food. I think you guys spit it out and then eat each piece so as to moisten it so it will go down.
