Hanna's stairs funny

I let Hanna play in the basement today. She really hasn't been exposed to stairs much - and I almost died laughing. She got the hang of going up and down, she wanted to play on the stairs.

I was at the bottom of the stairs, in the basement, and Abby appeared at the top of the stairs. Hanna was laying on one of the stairs, and when she saw Abby she crouched way down so only her eyes and ears were poking above. Then she crawled across the length of the stair, and plopped down to the next stair down, and did it again. It was so funny, like Kombat Kitty. She was going down the stairs, thinking she was totally hidden, by crawilng on her belly and then dropping down.

But her eyes and ears were showing.

Cats sure are funny.

That is sooo cute! They sure are funny, especially when they are kittens. Oh for a video camera.....

"STAIRS" has always been a favorite game for Edwina. Just as you describe with Hanna....she crouches down with only her eyes and ears showing ...and her ears are flat back against her head. I crawl up to the top step and sneak my hand up play menacingly toward the step and Edwina...

T&P thankfully there is no video camera when I'm doing that!

My digital camera can take short video clips, but I'm sure if I would have went up to get it, by the time I got back they would have moved on to something else - that is the way it always goes.

How cute. When we first moved into a home with stairs the cats went bonkers. They still love to race up and down, play on and sleep one the steps.
