    Jack is having an operation: UPDATED 14/02/08

    I took Jack along to the vets today as he has been losing weight and having breathing problems. He has hyperthyroidism and is going in on Monday to have an operation to remove his right thryoid. It's a pretty routine op, I know that but I would like the thoughts of Pet Talkers for his safe journey to and from the vets and through his operation.
    The vet said that he should be home the same day. He will then recover and should have no more problems with it. I am very happy actually that it will be cured and that he doesn't have to have medication.
    I want my loveable fat sausage back and hopefully he'll return to that once he's had his operation.

    Oh poor Jack! He is way too cute to be ill.

    The girls will have all 12 paws crossed on Monday that Jack sails through his operation. That will be great if his condition is cured and he does not need long-term medication. Fingers crossed!

    I'm so glad that you took him to the vet so you now know what his problem is. I hope that everything goes smoothly. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent Jack's way. Please continue to keep us updated about him.
