    a good anniversary for me

Tomorrow will mark the twenty-eighth year since I last smoked a cigarette! I'm SO glad I did. I don't need them to complicate my other health problems. I quit in 1982 when I thought 65 cents a pack was expensive, and now, what, close to $6.00 a pack? I certainly don't need them!!

Here in NJ they're $8 a pack Congratulations That really is a big accomplishment. That's just about when my parents quit smoking too.

Good job! I smoked for maybe three years and the ill effects from even that short of time and how little I smoked (a pack a week on average) made me so miserable I had to quit! Also I was sooo tired of paying so much for a habit that made me smell bad
    *hugs* and *highfives* to you!

BTW, I just realized something. Due to the no smoking ban here at Concordia, it'll be very difficult for me to start up again, which is a very good thing!
