Hello! I am a board member and foster for a small not-for-profit dog rescue in northern Indiana. Here is our website through Petfinder:

Almost a year ago, a member of our group saw a puppy chained outside with no shelter and hardly any food. He was there during thunderstorms and was probably beaten by his owners. He was only a baby then, part pitbull and ? We went to the door and asked if they would give him to us, and since they didn't want him anyways, we were able to save Rudy. He has been through some obedience training and gets along fine with other dogs. Rudy is up to date on all shots and has been neutered. He has now been in 5 foster homes.....

Rudy is very shy and has recently become aggressive towards people. Last week, he bit someone and they required 5 stitches. He has been through numerous foster homes trying to correct the problems, but these don't seem to work and we are running out of ideas. Can anyone possibly take him and rehab him? We only foster out of our homes, and we don't have that many foster people. Right now he is staying at our director's house, in the basement. He'll go outside to do his business then come right back in and sulk. He is very depressed. He is on the "big" side for us, since we try to be a small dog rescue. Rudy is around 30 pounds and is very smart, willing to learn in the right situation. We have never put a dog down because of behavior, but he may be the first. I'll attach a few pictures. We can make arrangements to transport.

Thanks so much for reading this![/img]
