    Rest well, Maylynn...

    My memaw just called me and let me know that they put Maylynn to rest just now. She was bawling. Her girl is gone.

    I hope she's met up with my grandfather and is happily sitting on daddy's lap again.

    It was a hard decision but Maylynn knew her "daddy" needed her 'cause he needed company on the silver cloud. I'm so sorry Memaw. I know you miss your baby.

    I had the wonderful Amy do a portrait of Maylynn for my memaw. It's beautiful and absolutely perfect. She is going to love it.

    I got the portrait in the mail yesterday, so I took it to memaw and we went to have it matted and framed. It's beautiful.
