Our first real snow storm of the season PHOTO HEAVY

Even though Winter hadn't officially started, we got hit with a good size snow storm, about 17 inches in total.

We had a Nor’easter overnight Saturday into Sunday. It was not the Blizzard it had been the storm weakened. Still, we got plenty of snow, and nice drifts too. It didn’t start till almost 10 PM on Saturday, so we went to bed with nothing changed.

The snow blew up against the front of the house, so the windows were quite pretty when we woke up Sunday morning.

    My bedroom window

    Living room, with Bobby

    Home office

“Marlin, do you want to go outside and see?”

From inside the garage, view out the back door

I stepped back so you can see how the snow piled up against the door at the bottom

Next I stepped outside so you can see the lovely high drift in the back yard, and grass near the house.

The bench is covered up to the arms.

Stand by, more pics coming right up!

Next I opened the garage door, you can see where is piled against that too.

It’s deep! Gave my snow thrower a challenge, to get moving initially.

The front door – have to use a shovel to clear that. You can see the hand rail, lower right.

Living room windows (where you saw Bobby inside)

Once I finished with the clearing, the pups were allowed out. Sugar and Lacey were not interested, they saw enough in their business trip to the back yard. Marlin came out.

    More photos on the way!

Tasha wanted to play! She was barking at me, bouncing up and down on her front feet, ha haa. “Ready for lift off!”

    More views of the front

It was SO EASY to clear the new driveway! No dips and valleys to get stuck in, to have to shovel out afterwards.

About 3 weeks back, I put the bird feeders out in the back yard. I discovered yet another Tasha quirk: she likes to EAT bird seed! She didn’t let the snow stop her, either. We returned to the back yard and she stuck her whole head in to eat, snow, seeds, didn’t matter. Silly pup! I kept trying to get a shot of her snow covered face!

    That’s all!

That is a lot of snow!!! Lol I can't wait for my pups to get to play in it... but I hate to drive in it. Lol Looks like your little ones had fun. I love watching them dig to get to something underneath the snow. Lol

That IS a lot of snow! But the new driveway looks like it cleared so easily

Hi, fluffyfluffs! How are you? How is the weather in Rhode Island? It is just starting to snow again here in Chicago but we are just supposed to get a coating to an inch tonight, and maybe another inch or 2 tomorrow.

I really am tired of snow. Between the three major storms we have had 55" so far this year. And we have had over foot of snow on the ground for about 10 days, AND it is snowing right now

Alright enough moaning. What I really came in here to say is Tasha is Adorable!

He he, let me remind all, that snow storm was 3 months back. We are looking at grass and bare roads at this point.

An the pups are happy with that, as it means they get walkies daily!

Are you really? I am jealous. The dogs have been having a hard time finding a place to go potty for the last week and a half. Enough!!! Sorry, glad to hear things are back to normal up there.

Did you folks not get today's storm? I just got back in from shoveling round 3, and another inch fell at the top of the driveway by the time I got done the bottom and the steps, so round 4 will be sometime after it stops!
