    Popcornbird is a Mommy!

I am thrilled to announce that PCB delivered a bouncing bundle of joy on 12/26, weighing 6.2! She will share more details when she comes home from the hospital. Mommy and baby are doing fine.

PCB: I'm absolutely thrilled to hear this news. I hope by now you are at home and settling in to the "baby routine". Getting much sleep???

What do Popcorn and Muffin think of the new addition? Can't wait to see pictures.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Hi everyone. This is going to be brief because I need some sleep.

Baby arrived Dec. 26th, 2:47 am. 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and a baby boy as they said...most precious one in the world. Labor and delivery went well...I cannot complain at all, because it was easy enough for me to be thinking, "I can totally do this again" the moment I delivered. We got home from the hospital on the 28th.

I will never forget seeing my baby for the first time. Both hubby and I cried. We love him just so much and melt everytime we look at him. He has somehow managed to increase our love for each other too. We are a family of 3 now. I can't believe I'm a mommy. It is tiring with less sleep, but oh, so worth it.

Okay, I know I am missing out a lot...I'm half asleep. This update will have to do for now.

Thanks Johanna for posting the thread.
