Gabbie ... R.I.P. on May 27, 2009 ...

Gabbie ...

Known to one and all who visited the Findlay Bark Park at Riverbend as
the beautiful Gentle Giant and dawggie Ambassador of good will, Gabbbie
has left us down here on the Dirt Ball to take on a new assignment as one of
God's FurrAngles at The Rainbow Bridge.

She's well quallified to be the Bridge Greeter ... everyone who knew her
could recognize her ear-shattering *Shout-Bark* greeting with her head out of
the back car window as Mom rounded the bend on the road and slowed to pull into
the Dog Park ... Gabbie's *WOOOOF* announced thier arrival!
Most every dog inside the Park would gather at the gate to *welcome* Miz Gabbie.

She played gently with one and all - big or tiny - Gabbie befriended all creatures
who ventured into "her" dog park.
She had the manners of a Princess ... no leash required - just hearing "Gabbie ..." from Mom
and she'd be intently looking for a hand signal to follow.

A "professional girl" - she *worked* with Mom at the family Kitchen Shop in
downtown Findlay ... Official Greeter would have been her title.

Sadly, the sudden onset of Degenerative Myelopathy struck and destroyed her
ability to stand and walk ... she wasn't the Happie Kampur she wanted to be.
Sunday she visited the Bark Park - but had to say "Hi" from the comfort of the back seat.

Today, Momma Carrie said her G-Byes on the soft lawm of the Hospital,
and Gabbie slipped off to her new adventures at The Bridge.

Romp Happily at The Bridge, Pretty Girl ...
and know that ALL of us will never forget you.
