I have runner sitting here next to me, she's laying down. Kitty walked by and she didn't even lift her head, but she growled a lil bit. Think she was just annoyed by it cus she was trying to sleep? He didn't even touch her. Doesn't happen all the time. She lets him climb all over him mostly.

Yup, just a warning, "get outta my face!" type thing. And with the body language - not moving - it is just a warning, not an aggressive act.
