    Good Bye Wyona

Last night I accompanied my best friend to the vet to have her 18 year old torti sent to the Rainbow Bridge. Our other good friend Dominic was there to say good bye to her as well and to help support Emma during this hard time.

Wyona never cared for me much, in fact every time I saw her she would say "meh" then swish her tail and walk away. When Emma would go out of town she did seem to respect my position as the giver of the Temptations treats. She had some major torti-tude! She was however a Mamma's girl and was there to help Emma get through anything, childhood, the awkward teenage years, and even all the way through college!

Wy and her attitude will be missed my many. Two years ago she had a wonderful sweet 16 birthday party in which many of her friends helped her to celebrate her very special day. She was showered with presents, treats, and even a special kitty birthday cake.

Wy, I hope you have a quick trip to the Rainbow Bridge. You are now young and strong and ready to show all the animals at the bridge your torti-tude!
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

What a wonderful girl Wyona sounds. She will leave a very big gap in your friend's life.
Rest in peace Wyona. You have earned a good rest after maintining all that tortitude over the years. You will be sadly missed.

Sounds like she lived her 18 years to the full. I'm sorry to hear of her passing and hope that your friend' grief will heal in time.

Sounds like Wyona was a real tortie! I'm sorry for all who loved her that she had to go, but I'm sure she had a great life showing everyone her tortitude.

Rest in Peace, Wyony - you will be missed.

How sad. Sounds like Wyona had a great life, full of that famous tortitude! And she is probably still displaying that "tude" at the bridge.

Play hard sweet one. You will be missed by many.

And now Wyona has her wings , shes starting to kick up her heels with the Pet Angel Army in the beautiful Algarve Resort Area of Portugal. There are lots of beaches, night clubs and even Casinos for the Angels to play and Wyonas having the time of her life. But not so much that shes not making notes of the places that she and her Meowmie can go together when they are reunited.

I'm so sorry about Wyona. Eighteen years is a long time and a good life for a cat w/tortitude. Prayers going out to your friend as Wyona learns her way around at the RB.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Let Emma know that Wyona will always be with her, in ever corner of her life, she'll find a use for that tortie spunk Wyona displayed so well. And she'll be there, curled up in a corner of her momma's heart, for the times when Emma needs her most, of that I am sure.
