    Buffalo Roundup - Pics

This year I went to the Buffalo Roundup on Antelope Island again. Jake was my trusty kid for that ride, Gent is not quite ready for buffalo yet. Had a good time, was really hard work! Seven of us brought in a herd of 11 really nasty bulls.

Only pic I was able to get of Jake. We couldn't stop for even a lunch break. It was 6 hours of hard riding.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

That's so cool! The longest I've ever been in the saddle was about three hours.

I highly doubt those are real buffalo in those pictures.

    Where are the wings?

Everyone knows that buffaloes have wings.
I see them advertised on restaurant menus all the time.

Well there were definintely some scary moments, but Jake takes care of us and can run pretty fast when we need to move LOL. There were a few of those when the big daddy charged us. It was a lot of fun, and yes, Karen, they do have a pungent odor LOL.

HA HA Richard LOL. I do think I'd prefer to eat buffalo wings rather than steak, after smelling the suckers.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

Here in So Cal there is a very small group of Buffs that are from the herd that Wm. Wrigley of the chewing gum-brought to Catalina island-then took a few from that group to home at the William Hart Museum just up the road from here.

They are magnificent and it's amazing that such a huge animal could ever be in danger of disappearing due to man's stupidity.

    So, no wings on buffalo?

So why aren't there owls at HOOTER'S?
