Dearest Lissy, you are absolutely stunning! What a beautiful, adorable young Tabby lady you are! Your grey-brown Tabby fur is so pretty and looks so soft, and you have the sweetest face with those lovely big pale-green eyes. You are so pretty in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us! You look so settled and comfortable gazing up at me in the first, and in the second you're all curled up having a nice nap. I wish I could reach through the screen and across the ocean to Germany and pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved young friend will pet you for me .
And what a terrific story you have to tell! You met your dear family-to-be at an animal shelter, you all fell in love, and you went Home with them! My deepest gratitude to those wonderful shelter people for rescuing you and taking good care of you and then bringing you and your family together. And my deepest gratitude to your Permanent family for choosing rescue and welcoming you into their home! Now you are living the life you deserve (and you always deserved). You're a very sweet, very cuddly young lady. You enjoy waking up your dear young friend each morning by jumping on her bed and pushing her with your nose. You're happy when she comes home from school. When the family eats, you want some food, too. You and the boy cat neighbors don't like each other, and you often argue with them. Your and your young friend love each other very much, don't you (and I love you too!). What a delightful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Lissy, on being chosen Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear young friend and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
