Kitten in 3 weeks or less

Well, today I cleaned and rearranged my sewing room. It is now the boys room. I moved the boys in there so I can have the kitten room again since a litter of kittens coming. So, Tuesday I will clean the room wash the carpet. The boys made a mess, no spraying but they are messy. Ele' is a brown and white classic tabby, she carries solids and Desi (the Dad) is a solid red. So we can have tortie, patches, with or without white. boys will be red, black, or brown with or without white. Ele' is a big girl weighs just under 14 pounds and Desi is about 18 pounds. I will keep you posted and with pictures if you like. And of course pictures of the kittens.

Well, finished shampooing the carpet and cleaning the room. Tomorrow, Thursday I will put Ele' in there to get use to the room and how it is arranged and also put her favorite kitten box in there for her with fleece and Chux pads. She will start back on kitten food with Vitamins added. She looks good and getting big. The bull's eye tabby marking is really clear and looks like a ring on her sides. Well that is it for now. I am getting excited. My friend cat just had 7 kittens and 5 are torties and one a patch and the 7th she doesn't know what it is yet. Talk about your tortie-tude she will have plenty to go around.

Kittens should be here in about 2 weeks or so. Today I put Ele1 in the kitten room and she was checking it out. Sniffing and smelling the entire room. Checking out the boxes I set up. And the cages I made ready. She made sure the litter boxes worked, the water was fresh and the dry food tasted good. She tested the cat beds in there also. She was very content with the room and laid down and took a nap.

    THEY ARE HERE

Well, in the middle of the night when I had a bad cold Ele's decided to have her kittens. I was sleeping right there and heard nothing at all till the next morning when I woke up. There she was with 6 kittens. Boy I was surprised!! The largest weighed 4.6 oz. and the smallest was 3.4 oz. All are doing fine and so is Ele'. There is a patch girl, Tortie girl, Black and white, girl, a brown and low white boy, and 2 brown tabbies no white.
They were born on Dec. 22, 2003.
Here is the first family Picture.

    How cool, Christmas kitties.

They all look just great, Ele' looks a little peturbed. She did just have 6 kittens so I guess she is allowed.

Well, it sounds like all went well with the birth, and that eveyone is doing fine.

More news and pics when you get a chance.
