Richard will just have to bear with us for a while Ellie! My brother e-mailed this pic to me today. I liked it a lot because I used to work in the PNB building on the 24th floor and my view out the window was Billy Penn.

I don't know the answer to your question Ellie. Sounds like a job for Google.

    17 minutes 'til first pitch!

Just as I thought, Billy Penn never played for the Phils.

    Go to sleep.

Thank goodness there's a day to rest up before the Phillies play again. What an awesome game last night! This has been one heck of a series so far.

Just one more to clinch it. They can do it!!!

I have seen the game turn on a dime many times in the ninth inning - for the good and for the bad. These ninth innings have caused the blood pressure of many Phillies fans to rise I am sure! (I should view these ninth innings with a glass of Richard's DOTD by my side! LOL!) Last night as Jimmy stepped up to the plate I thought...."Jimmy you can do this." ... and he did!!!!

I'm rooting for the Phillies, but it seems like they always have nailbiting games with the Dodgers! GO PHILLIES!

David, my daughter-in-law is from an area just south of Erie. She now lives down here in South Jersey and has become an avid Phillies fan. You just can't help it! The fever is contagious! She said "I never knew baseball could be so exciting." Glad to have you cheering from Pittsburgh!
