I'm quite sure when I'm done burning up over this I'm going to cry like a baby. This is the kind of stuff that really pee's me off.People get a dog and are either to lazy to train and take care of it or just decide they don't feel like it anymore and dump it at some shelter, then to make it worse some of these shelters put these dogs down simply because they think the chances of adopting them out are slim because of their breed. That was the case with Kujo my Akita.I rescued him from a shelter and when I did the lady there told me I was right on time because he was being put down the following week.I asked her why since he'd only been there 3weeks and she said " Well because he's an Akita" looking at me all stupid like I should've known the answer. So just to see what she'd say I said to her so what does that mean? She says well their usually very aggressive and most of the time vicious, are you sure this is a breed for you?"to which I replied"yes,I've raised many Akita's and what you said is not true at all.I've never had one that's bitten or attacked anyone it's all about how their trained. With that I took my dog and left before I really lost it.I could not believe she worked there. The sad thing is that as sad as my Kujo was when I first saw him it was quite evident he had not been given much attention in that hell hole if any at all.Why must people be so ignorant?

RIP Allister... your life on earth was so short, you are in a better place now. Free from Breedism and hatrid towards your sweet breed.
God Bless you sweetie. Tears are flowing down my face because of what has happenend to you.
