I was going to suggest that too. I think the tubing comes in heavy duty
hard rubber/plastic and metal coverings. Let them chomp on that once and
    they woudn't like it.

I really loved seeing the pictures of all (but Grandma) interacting with the
tunnel. That's a real ice breaker & gets them all involved.LOL

VERY cute pics....how bad dey are!

ETA: Do you even remember the days before Winnie and Angel came along?
I do have that tubing on some of the cords. It was pretty expensive so I only covered some of the cords. I'm thinking about splitting a paper towel tube and taping it on that cord until I can get back to Walmart Friday and get more of the plastic stuff. It might not stop them but it would slow them down giving me a chance to shoo them off.

Yea, I do remember life before Winnie and Angel. It was a very sad time. I was so depressed because of losing Leonardo. Those two sure helped me and made me laugh again. Not to mention turned the house upside down.

from ultimatecatsecrets.com (I added the italics)...

"Block access to visible cords by wrapping flexible safety cable (available at hardware stores) around them. Tin foil works well too, or even a thicker model or extension cord (that is too big for a cat to chew on)

"Apply unpleasant-tasting substances to exposed cords. These could include bitter apple spray, menthol, toothpaste, mouthwash or lemon juice.

"My favorite solution is rubbing the cords with a bar of soap."

Cassie hates aluminum foil. I wonder why toothpaste tastes unpleasant to a cat? She sure does love the cap from a toothpaste tube as a toy!

Supposedly cats hate grapefruit - you could try rubbing grapefruit peel on the cords.

Cuddles and chin rubs to Chip and Chuck - when they're being good!

This morning I put an empty paper towel roll around that cord and taped it on. So far so good.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm thinking maybe brushing liquid dish soap on the cords might work too. I use Dawn so it shouldn't hurt them if they get a taste.

Hi, Chip and Chuck, big brother Chester, and big sisters Angel, Winnie and Grandma! How are you? How was your Fourth of July weekend? Could you please have meowmie give you some hugs, kisses and snuggles from me?

We all had a nice sort of quiet 4th. I was glad for that. The kids are all doing well. How I ever watched tv without Chip and Chuck to keep me safe from space invaders, I'll never know. They both seem to love watching tv and movies. We are on our third viewing of Independence Day this weekend right now.

All snuggles, hugs and kisses have been delivered. They all send thanks and luvies and head bumpies to you too.

Special wave and luvies to thier Texas siblings too.

    New Pics

Chuck got into the toy box this morning and was having a blast. Of course, there are pics. They are sort of blurry because he was in constant motion. There is one of Chip too, just relaxing after he destroyed the kitchen. Of course, there has to be one of Miss Angel too. She is 11 months old on the 13th.

Oh, aren't they just so sweet! And Ms. Angel is looking so mature!

Hi Angel Loved the pictures of the little guys. It sure doesn't take
much for these little ones to be happy. Food, love & a warm spot to sleep.
Oh, and a box of toys to play in. Hi Chip & Chuck.
