ALRIGHT!!! This is GREAT news and I am SO happy to read this! (HAPPY DANCES!) I admit I had to laugh with this..
Dad is very bored and impatient with the whole deal at this point. He wants to be home. Other than that, his spirits are good!!
That will make his recovery go at a lot faster pace that he is impatient.. BUT, warn him, he must DO AS TOLD by the doctors and not overdo!

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Talked with dad today, he seems to be in really good spirits!! He's getting skin graft surgery tomorrow, and then he should be able to go home in a few days after that. He's soooooo impatient about that right now!

He's using a walker, very carefully. He tried crutches, but didn't have enough support with them, so glad he's using the walker, but hope he can keep hopping to keep weight off his foot! That's the tough part of this, no weight on the foot. Crutches would have been better for that, but oh well.

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers, I know they are working wonders! Will update again when there is more news.

This is such good news about your father, Jenn! His attitude is terrific, which is a strong point in his favor. He sounds ready and willing and able to take on whatever tasks life requires of him now.

Continuing prayers and good wishes are being sent.

    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Great News!! I hope he continues to recover and gets better very soon. The boredom is maddening sometimes. I did about 8,000 crossword puzzles when I had knee surgeries.

I am so glad he is doing better, and I loved loved loved my knee walker when I broke my foot.
