    Hi, everyone!

Look Mario! I found some blueberries for you. I know they are your favorite after cherries. Just remember, you smear them all over yourself again, and it will be a bath for you! What the heck!
Enjoy them any way you want to.

Just going to grab a cherry vanilla coke and 4 cat nip teas please!
And in honor of the up coming Memorial Day weekend (and the kickoff of outdoor grilling season) - a big old chilly dog!
(not a finger in sight either)

Hi everyone - just stopping by for a quick hello! I'm on the way to the pharmacy to pick up some antibiotic... my darn sinuses are driving me nuts. Nothing like a spring time cold, eh?

Debbie, let's gather the bunnies and put them in the bar; they'll leave your roses alone and it'll give Possum something to herd! (Just make sure Possum doesn't herd them into the lost and found! ack!)

Everyone have a wonderful (and safe!) weekend!

Ooooohhhh....then we'll have glow bunnies! You know, to go along with the glow worms that are already in there (refer to hospital memo post and hazmat guys).

You have a safe one too, Zip. Hope you feel better soon!

Mmmm.....chili dogs....yummy! I'll have one with you MOFF - and a side order of onion rings perhaps?

I'm just going to grab myself a cold one relax for a minute.

G'day everyone, just poppimg in for a chili dog and a quick beer. I was toying with the idea of baked beans though. Thickly layered on toast, with shavings of cheddar cheese. Not a bad snack to have on a cold day.

Possum, Mario, What are you guys watching on TV?

The Bold and brainless!!! Turn over to the Iron Chef, it's a lot more entertaining.

    Hi Trev, Richard and Corinna.

Well, it's 86 degrees as I sit here at 9pm and I feel like a wet rag. The heat and me don't get along too well. However, I suppose it will get me used to the LA weather in July.

No beans for me please....the cats won't sleep with me!

I'm going to grab another cold beer and watch the Iron Chef. It's the best program on the food channel...although I think Richard would disagree. Shhhhh, he's in love with Nigella Lawson!

Hiya Slick, Corrina, 86degF is starting to get hot. 70 wouldn't be too bad, as long as you don't have any humidity.

Yeah I can see Richard getting into Nigella's show. I best not expand on her only and best attributes. The Iron Chef is heaps better, It's like WWF in the kitchen.

Ha! Normally I would speak in Canadian language but on here I speak the language of the majority. 86 degrees F. Even the cats aren't eating that much tonight. They are both just flopped on their sides trying to air themselves out. Not an easy task for a Persian.

Oggy, I swear sometimes I think Nigella's show should be classified as Kitchen Porno. Have you heard the way she describes her Chocolate Cloud Cake??? XXX rated.

I was curious too, so I looked it up........here it is.

    Chocolate Cloud Cake Recipe
    Ingredients
8 ounces best-quality bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pieces, softened
    6 large eggs: 2 whole, 4 separated
    1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cognac or Grand Marnier (optional)
Grated zest of 1 orange (optional)

    WHIPPED CREAM TOPPING
1-1/2 cups heavy cream, well chilled
    3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    Unsweetened cocoa powder, for sprinkling

    Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 C). Line the bottom of an 8-inch springform pan with a round of wax paper; do not butter the pan. Melt the chocolate in a bowl set over hot water. Remove from the heat and whisk in the butter until melted; set aside.

In a bowl, whisk the 2 whole eggs and the 4 egg yolks with 1/2 cup of the sugar just until blended. Whisk in the warm chocolate mixture. Whisk in the optional cognac or Grand Marnier and the optional orange zest.

In another bowl, with an electric mixer, beat the 4 egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the remaining 1/2 cup sugar and beat until the whites form soft mounds that hold their shape but are not quite stiff. Stir about 1/4 of the beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture to lighten it; gently fold in the remaining whites. Pour the batter into the pan; smooth the top.

Bake until the top of the cake is puffed and cracked and the center is no longer wobbly, usually 35 to 40 minutes. Do not over bake.

Cool the cake in the pan on a wire rack; the cake will sink as it cools, forming a crater with high sides.

At serving time, whip the cream with the confectioners' sugar and vanilla until not quite stiff. With a spatula, carefully fill the crater of the cake with the whipped cream, pushing it gently to the edges. Dust the top lightly with cocoa powder. Run the tip of a knife around the edges of the cake; carefully remove the sides of the pan and serve.

    Yield: 8 to 12 servings
