The kids have been little monsters this morning. I was in here (the front room) when I heard several crashes and the sound of shattering glass.
They knocked my two plates and one bowl off the kitchen counter. The dishes were made of correlle ware but the bowl just shattered. They even broke a chunk out of a plastic saucer. If that wasn't bad enough, the boys were playing with the broken glass pieces. I had to shut them in their carrier while I cleaned it up. Even then, I missed a few pieces.
The boys found those. I looked down and there was Chuck trying to eat a piece of glass and Chip was batting a piece around on the floor. I swept the floor again and am hoping I finally got all of them. I've never seen a bowl shatter like that. There were no big pieces of it left at all. Luckily the plates didn't break. I was keeping them on the counter because I have to keep the cupboard doors tied shut. They can open the doors and throw the dishes out of them.

He has been acting a bit odd this week. Eating, drinking and potting well, but not much interest in playing. At first I thought it was just because it's been so awfully hot here. But this afternoon, I decided to take him in for a check up.
Poor baby's temp was 105.5. They tested him for FIV/FIP. Both tests came back negitive. Good news there.
They finally diagnosed him as having a fever of unknown origin and put him on antibiotics.
He is laying under the ceiling fan glowering at me right now.
