Oh, poor little Chip! Here's hoping you are all better real soon.. in good form for big sister Angel Rose's birthday party!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Poor widdle Chip. I hope he'll feel better and get well soon. Was he the one that got sick a while back too or was that Chuck? If so then maybe his immune system is a bit weak. Maybe some Lysine powder could be added to his food. Ask your vet about it.

Does Chip have any other symptoms (nose or eye discharge, anything in the ears)? That high of a fever is scary; please keep us updated!

Yes, that was Chip. That was one of the reasons the vet wanted to test him for FIP/FIV. I was so relieved that he is negitive for those.

I'm wondering if he maybe didn't get completly over the infection the first time, then we had him neutered which stressed his system again.

He has had no symptoms like runny eyes or sneezing or anything. He eats well and drinks a bit of water and all plumbing is working well. He just acted lethargic. With the heat we've been having, I just thought it was something like that for a while.

He seemed to feel a bit better this morning. He enjoyed some treats in honor of Angel's first birthday. He is napping behind my recliner right now. Chuck keeps wanting to wrestle with him. Chuck is in the kitchen right now.

Thank you for the prayers and well wishes for my boy.

Well I'm glad Chip is otherwise symptom free, and hope his fever has broken, poor baby! Come on, Chip, you have to get well for your sister's big birthday!

Chip is still not feeling well. This morning he would hardly eat. I called the vet and am waiting for them to pick him up to take in for another check up. Our bus doesn't run on the weekends. Thank God they will pick him up. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Chip has been on antibiotics and still isn't doing better? That does not
sound good. Must be a strong bug got hold of him. I'm glad to know
that your Vet can offer a ride in to check the little guy out. Prayers that
they know exactly what to do & make him better in no time. All paws crossed
    here.

Maybe he needs an x-ray? I wonder if some glass got into him from the other day. I sure as heck HOPE NOT! But maybe it's that or something else blocking his wee tummy.

Bless those vets for picking Chip up! Prayers for him to feel better soon!

I just don't know. He doesn't act like he hurts any where. I gently felt on his tummy and it didn't bother him. He is on a different antibiotic this time. Maybe it's just not the right one. He started getting better a few hours after he took the other one. He's there now. They should be calling before noon. They close on noon on saturday. I hope he doesn't have to spend the weekend there.

Just got a call from the vets office. They want to keep him over the weekend. His temp is 105.2. Almost as high as it was Thursday when he went in. The vet tech is putting a stuffed animal in with him to keep him company.
I'll call Monday morning to see how he is doing.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope that his temp will come down and that your vet will be able to find out what's going on with him and can treat him with the right meds. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way. Please take care. (((HUGS)))

    Hi there little Chip,
I'm so sorry to hear that you don't feel too good and you have to stay in the Whitecoat Hotel for a few days. Don't be scared sweetie, your vet needs to find out what's wrong so he can help you get better. I'm saying lots of prayers for you to get better and be back home with Meowmie and your fursibs very soon. Remember, the whitecoat is your friend!
