Please congratulate moosmom on her newest addition....Sassy the white Persian

    Hey all,

moosmom saved yet another life. She is saving a 5 year old white female Persian named Sassy. Sassy was due to be put down TODAY, and moosmom stepped up to the plate and saved her life. Mike and I will be helping with the transport tomorrow morning (at zero dark thirty for Mike) and will be accompanied by Sassy and 2 pups (possibly 3). So, I get to meet her before she does!! lol

So, how many of you are falling over in a dead faint with as many posts as I have made in the last 2 weeks on the catside? lol

    Welcome to pet talk Sassy!!!!!!

EDIT: I saw Donna's OTHER thread 2nd, so I assumed the munchkin was still a go.

I'm so excited to read about this!!!! There doesn't seem to be enough Persians on Pet Talk and I can hardly wait to see pictures. Donna said in her other thread that she would still be in the single-digits, but who knows.

Bless you Donna for saving Sassy!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Way to go Donna.

I am so happy to hear that you found a kitty that needed you.

From the sounds of it the munchkin will be fine in a good foster home.

I thought Donna had posted. We had made all the arrangements with Dana (board member of the shelter) and all was a go until Dana called me and told me that the cat (Sassy) had been adopted that day and hadn't told her. AACCKK!! I talked to Donna last night and she said that was fine as long as the cat got a home. I'm going to find a cat in need for her yet!! lol
