    Fairly new screening test for colon cancer without the colonoscopy. IF the test is positive (it picks up non cancerous and cancerous polyps as well as blood so there can be a false positive even with hemorrhoids) you will need a diagnostic colonoscopy anyway but if the test is negative, you don't need the colonoscopy. Current recommendations are to screen with cologuard every 3 years. Covered 100% by Medicare and covered with co-pays through most commercial insurances.

    Probably won't a[[;y for me, as Dad had pre=cancerous polyps - so we a;; got tested before we turned 50.
