    Off Topic: China

If you have a few minutes perhaps you could answer a few questions as a favor to us. Our friend, translator, and tour guide in China would like answers to five questions about your thoughts regarding China for her dissertation.

**blush** If my responses are the norm, she's going to think there are a lot of know-nothings running around loose around here.
I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

I answered too. I had the opportunity to visit parts of China a couple of years ago and I loved it.

       Thank you everyone.

When we talked to her when we were in China she did not have any plans to visit foreign countries in the future. However, one or more of the other people we met in China may visit us.

I answered too but I really didn't have much to say. I know little to nothing about China. I wish I did. Perhaps this will motivate me!

Good luck to your friend on her dissertation!

I'm sure that will be interesting for all of you! Perhaps she should do a more extensive questionaire, if she needs it for her job!

    While we're off topics ....

I have another question about PM's. When I get one, the box will pop up, so far so good. But when I've read it and closed the PM, the box comes up again and says there's a new PM, but it's the same one I just opened. Does it have to be open for a certain period of time to not do that?

And, if you put your PM's in differnet folders, will they still occupy the space used for the 30 or so PM's you can have in your inbox, before deleting any?

    Thanks in advance,
    Randi
