    Happy Birthday, Gretta!! I had a standard brown dachshund when I was a kid, and his name was Fritzie so I have a special spot in my heart for your breed! Hope you have a wonderful day.

    Yes, my Fritz's full name was Frederick Von Bertram (Bertram being my mom's maiden name) but he was called Fritz after a sculptor friend in Kansas named Fritz....I always affectionately called him Fritzie, though....he was a great dog!!!
