    A guest in our house

We received an email from the rescue organization we adopted our little poodle boy, Chip, from. It was pretty desperate, saying that they are overflowing with dogs and expecting more from a hurricane Katrina evacuation, and that foster homes were urgently needed. We couldn’t say no…and two days later Esther came to stay with us for a while.

These quick pics don’t do her justice…this is one gorgeous standard poodle. She’s a very strange color…I think they call it Café au Lait.

There really isn’t anything wrong with her eyes…blame the photographer!

She’s very sweet, very submissive, and very stressed right now. Today she’s going to the vet to be checked.

    honor

What a beautiful poodle. You're an awesome person to foster her! If she could speak, she would say "thank you so much for saving me".

Oh my gosh! My daughter pointed me to this thread and I am so glad she did. What a sweetheart you have there! It is a good thing she is in Florida because if I had been asked to foster her she probably would have become a permanent resident here!! Her coloring reminds me of a silver mini that I once had except for her ears. Bless you for fostering her. Is there a chance that she might become permanent? Please keep us posted as to how she does at the vet's and also on her progress. What a cutie! *swoon*

    She's beautiful, and thank you!

Would you be able to give me their contact info? I've been trying to find someone who needs fostering and have a few questions to ask them.

Thank you all for your well wishes.

We took some more pics of her this evening...she is settling in nicely and got a fairly good bill of health from the vet. We're just waiting for the heartworm test results *fingers crossed*.

Sorry there are so many but I think she is just beautiful. Do you see those big paws??? She's gonna be a BIG one.
