    My Newest Zenni find

I ordered a new pair of glasses that were purposefully different than anything I would usually pick and they arrived today. I can't decide if I like them or not. My first impression was that they make my face look funny and chopped off, but if I am honest with myself I can admit that ANY pair of glasses is going to do that to me simply because my prescription is so high. SInce I can't look at myself objectively, I will let YOU look Pardon my scrubby hair and unkempt eyebrows.
These thin wire rims are my usual go-to glasses

    These are the new ones

I like them! They are very modern looking. I just got my first pair from zenni and I am very happy with them.

It's funny, I looked at those frames, but couldn't decide whether the thick armature would be distracting to me. They look fine, really, they're the same shape as your others, just with more pizazz!

You know Karen, I can see the thick arms in my peripheral vision but it doesn't bother me a bit so far. I'm about to wear them out to pick up some balloons for my husband so I'll let you know if they are annoying while driving!

Good to know, and keep me updated!

Also, the dark frames surprising bring out your eyes more, which is nice. They probably would do the opposite for me, though, as I have pretty pale eyes.

Didn't notice them a bit and I actually forgot I was wearing them until I was complimented on them

Hmm, good to know! Maybe next time I'll do something like that, I JUST got new glasses anyway - bifocals for the first time.
