    Simba

My sweet boy Simba developed a hematoma on his left ear Friday afternoon. I came over after work Friday and noticed it, so my parents took him to the vet right away. They said it wasn't there in the morning. The vets drained it but it's since then swollen back up.

He goes into the vet 7:30am Monday morning. I'm worried about my old boy but the vet seems to think he'll be fine. They're also going to clean his teeth while he's under.

He's never been away from home without me. He gets so nervous when he's away from home. He can't eat anything after midnight tonight and let me tell you, he is NOT a dog who likes to skip breakfast. He is going to be so mad at my dad tomorrow morning for not giving him breakfast. He WILL tell you when he's hungry.

Anyhow, good thoughts for my sweet silly boy, please? I'll try and keep you all updated but I don't own a computer/have internet, so I'll try my best.

Here's some pictures I just took of my boy.

Him and his best friend, my Nala girl...

And him in his favorite place to be... hanging out by the pool.

Going to take him and Nala for a walk. I've been mopey all weekend because of this. I've also been wearing one of his old dog tags around my neck. Please keep him in your thoughts. Thank You.

    Kay,

Lots of healing thoughts coming your way for Simba - he is such a dear boy. I hope all goes well for him at the vet's office. Please give him a huge hug for me.

Aww, poor Simba. He should be fine, but of course you'll still be worried.

Awww, what a sweet face he's got. That little extra white just adds to his charm, and the one flopped ear makes him even more adorable. I hope he does well tomorrow, and has a quick recovery.

Give him a hug from us, too, okay? And give your Dad some earplugs for tomorrow morning's sure complaints!

Sorry to hear about Simba's ear hematoma, Kay. I can assure you that he should be just fine! I will most definitely keep Simba in my prayers, as well as you!
Rita recently got her teeth cleaned in October- got it done at school. I'm going to need to know how to perform it eventually, so why not watch them perform it on my own dog! He will be feeling much better after he comes home! Clean teeth (although his mouth may be sore- Rita's sure was), and no more irritated ear!

I sure miss seeing you around here, as well as the 5 muttlies! Kay I wanted to tell you that Simba looks GREAT! How old is he now?
    Hope you and the rest of the pups are doing well! {{{HUGS}}}

I have missed seeing Simba and Nala. I miss seeing pix of all the muttlies.

While I'm glad to see a few pictures of them, I am sad to hear what's going on with Mr Simba. I hope the visit to the vets this morning was a good one and the vet is right when they say he'll be fine.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
