    Neighbors' Vizsla *PICS*

On the 4th we went to their house which is a few doors down.

Toby who was rescued after is past owners tried to heal his wounds from being hit by a car on their own with a needle and thread and Lady who was there first.

Lady, master squirrel hunter. Her dad says once she sat like that for 8 hourse untill the squirrel finally made a run for it and she CAUGHT it!

    Toby

Lady's heavenly golden eyes. I might use this one for the 4-H fair contest

This will be a great shot once it's cropped

    I SEE you squirrley!

Wow, they are absolutly stunning!! I don't think I've ever see a Vizla in real life before. I just saw my first Great Dane on the 4th!

...as you can 'see' there aren't a real variety in dogs around here, mostly Labs and GSDs.

    Suki Wingy,

What beautiful dogs! I've never heard of the breed. I thought they were weimaraners (sp?). Can you tell me a little more about the breed??

Moosmom, I think Vizslas (vee-slah) are from Hungary, but I could be wrong. They're an intense, high-energy pointing breed, and you can read more about them at the VCA's website: http://clubs.akc.org/vizsla/history.htm

Eva, those pictures are GORGEOUS. You're very talented with the camera!
