How can I possibly explain that "I'm hurting for someone whom I've never met and lives miles away who has her precious pet in for sir jury and I've never met the pet either and I only know them from a website called Pet Talk"..... It just wouldn't fly and that's why I've never told anyone around me about PT.

In my tenure here at Pet Talk, I've come to care very deeply for the people and their pets and here I am crying again.......for someone and her pet that I've never met.

What a community we have here!!!

My cheque was mailed today Jess.

    Seriously...
When telling my co-workers about stuff like this (the new ones, my a few of me old co-workers would have completely understood and asked me about Raven everyday!) I would get weird looks. It seems only PT people are special enough to care so much.

We are a truly unique group of people here!

If you're not a part of it... don't even try to understand us, because you never will. It's almost like our own secret club!

I've shed many, many tears for PT members & pets and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Jess, I'm so glad her surgery went well yesterday! I pray her cancer doesn't come back. Or like Brody's Mum said:
"Raven's cancer won't dare return with us lot to answer to!! "

I'll be waiting for your update this morning after your 9:30 call!!!

What Slick said is so true. The emotion we feel for pets and people we've never even met, tells us something about ourselves. We really have a great group of people here.

Still thinking about you all Jess. I'll check back after coming home from work later this evening. I hope it's a joyful reunion for Raven, Mom, and the T's!! Please give that sweet Raven some kisses from me to welcome her home and some more kisses for those beautiful T's.

If anyone hasn't checked the donation page, the amount donated has had me in tears several times, the total is $876.11. Because everyone here was so generous, Raven's life didn't have to come down to money or time to raise it. I truly feel blessed to "know" such a group of people. You are right, most just don't understand. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for doing what you've done for them.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.

Oh the waiting....I just hate the waiting. I have to go out in a hour...sure hope she's home by then.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

What wonderful news - she is coming home! My heart is so full for you - I know just how you feel.

I am praying that aside from a check up - you don't ever have to leave her overnight again.

    She's HOME!

My baby girl is HOME! She's a bit more subdued than normal (who wouldn't be?) but she is looking great, tail wagging and so happy to be home. I had to go out and take some pictures for everyone. It is hard to really look closely at her mouth, I got a brief look but she is not eager to have her mouth held open right now and I do not blame her! It'll be easier to see when she pants.

She is on antibiotics and pain medicine and soft diet, I picked up some EVO RM canned for her. Also I'm supposed to flush the area every day with some warm water, they gave me syringes for that. She goes in for her first recheck next Friday. Today will be a quiet and restful day for my girl. And now on to the pictures. It's been rainy and dark out and I was trying to hurry and get them before the rain started again.

And one of her mouth, but her lip really covers the area and you can't see much other than the missing bottom canine.

    She's HOME HOME HOME!

She's so beautiful, and just a wee bit tired looking. Give her hugs and kisses, please.
