Lost Dog in Boston *Final update, post 1*

Berry Sue was found hit by a car, and she's gone. Sending lots of thoughts and prayers to her family as well as the pet sitter.

You may want to let them know about www.findtoto.com They will call up to 10,000 surrounding houses and get the word out FAST.

I'll be praying the dog makes it home safely!!

If you send me a PM with your email address, I have a list of things to do to help find a missing dog. Most of it is our "lost dog" package from the rescue I volunteer with; then a few things I have picked up along the way.

Copy and Paste from the other board.

UPDATE: 9/7 Berry Sue approached a woman walking her dog from behind and startled the woman's dog and the dog barked. This scared Berry Sue and she crossed Lowell heading west to the Harrington School (to the southwest of the sighting location). Her movement so far is following an established bike path. The K9 PI thinks that she could be going by smell to head "home" (her farm in Oregon) and that she is heading through Whipple Hill towards Locke Farm.

Berry Sue hasn't been sighted today, but people have called the pet sitter to say that they have seen a person walking a dog that looked like Berry Sue (which was the pet sitter's dog Mazzie when the pet sitter was searching with her - so it's great that they are calling!)

the pet sitter did receive a call today from someone that sighted Berry Sue in a completely different area (Woburn) than she originally thought she would be, so this makes her range larger. the pet sitter went to flyer the area, so if you can continue to pass along the information to help Berry Sue come home, that would be great!!!

I was so hoping the update would be that she was found but it sounds promising atleast. Will continue to pray!!

Another update: Berry Sue was spotted chasing turkeys on a farm today. Since she's a raw fed girl, perhaps she was trying to prepare her own dinner.

The pet sitter is working with a well known pet psychic in the area who has asked everyone to send Berry Sue "Go Home!" vibes.

Here is her info site with a map showing where she has been seen over the last few days. http://www.lifeofleodesigns.com/lostberrysue/lost.html

Oh, dear - I'll let my friends - and fellow dog lovers, in Concord know, and if we're in the area - it's a couple town away, we'll keep our eyes peeled!

How tragic. What a sad ending.

Prayers of comfort for the pet sitter and the family. I just can't imagine how both sides are coping.

    RIP little Berry Sue.

Aww man, I've shed enough tears today, and here they go again.

    RIP Berry Sue
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Rest in peace, sweetheart. There are fields full of bunnies and scents to chase up at the Rainbow Bridge.
