    Exquisite Evee

Dearest Evee, what an exquisitely beautiful girl you are! That long pretty Tortie fur looks so soft, and what a sweet face you have with that orange blaze coming down between those lovely big eyes. Your beauty in both appearance and spirit comes down so well in those great photos. I wish I could reach through the screen and all the way around the world and Down Under to Hamilton, New Zealand to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .

And what a heartbreaking but uplifting story of rescue and recovery you have to tell! Your dear Purrrson saw you around before but assumed you were owned. Then one day she saw up close and realized you were in bad condition. She befriended you as you slowly became less scared and finally moved in. After a vet consult they were told you needed a full extraction of your teeth because of the horrible condition they were in, causing you great pain.

The surgery wasn't totally successful, but you are doing much better. Now you live in total safety and comfort in your dear Purrrsons' bedroom. You are the most loving cat your dear Purrrson has ever owned. She cuddles and kisses you, and you sleep every night with her, in her arms nearly all night or above her head on the pillow. You and she love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Evee, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Congratulations on being honoured as Cat of the Day, Evee!

What a pretty girl you are! Your fluffy coat is beautiful and your eyes are stunning! You also have the sweetest face!

How lucky your mum saw you outside, befriended you and then took you to the vet. I am so sorry for the suffering you had before. But now you have a home where you get good care and lots of love - you SO deserve that! And I can fully understand why you want to stay indoors.

In spite of what you have been through, you are a sweet affectionate girl who sleep with your mom every night and love to cuddle - and your mum loves you every much.

Enjoy a day of celebration with your mum, get pampered with your favourite treats and lots of love. I hope the two of you will have many more happy years together. I send you gentle kisses and wish you love, happiness and a good health, sweetie! You are a treasure!

Dear Evee, what a beautiful longhair tortie girl you are. You look so soft with your fluffy coat, and your face is so sweet with those pretty light green eyes.
I'm so glad that your person recognized that you were in horrible shape, all by yourself, in the street. After you overcame your fear, your new family had you checked out by a vet, and they did whatever necessary to help you and give you a painfree life.
Even though the surgery was not completely successful, you are so much better, loved and safe for the rest of your life.
Evee, you have overcome great hardships with the help of your parents, and you're re-paying them with unconditional love.
I wish you and your family a great day full of celebration, and many more happy and healthy years together.

Hello, precious Evee in New Zealand! Happy Cat of the Day!

What a gorgeous tortie girl you are! Your fur looks so fluffy and soft, and your face is so sweet!

Your person put water out for you, and you came to drink. Gradually you became more trusting, and allowed yourself to be rescued! You received antibiotics and dental care, and although the outcome was not a total success, you are doing better now. You have become an indoor kitty, staying in your person's bedroom where you feel safe. You accept cuddles and kisses, and you even sleep with your person each night! I am sending you zillions of hugs, kisses and cuddles for your special day, because you are a very special girl!

Happy, happy Cat of the Day to dear Evee!

Edited to add: I just read that Evee is one of PT's own! I know you are in very, very good hands with your caring meowmie Carole!
