    misty 4 weeks to 7 mos.

    well misty is almost 8 months old already, so I thought I would share some pics as she grows up, 4 weeks till now.


    misty 4 weeks old, this is my very first pic of her, when I first came to pick out a pup


    this is the day after she came home, sound asleep at 7 weeks old


    misty and 5 months showing off her great looks! misty would make everyone happy, she is a farm bred dog, with strong herding instict and a smooth coat, AND she fits the AKC standard and would do well both is the ring and on the farm.

    and atached is a pic of misty now almost 8 months old!

    She's very cute...I just LOVE those markings on her face!! The smooth coat is very shiny too!

    Love dem BCs! What a cuuuute puppy! I have a soft spot for smooth coats! And eye patches!!!

    My sweet RB doggie Jack reminds me of your lovely Misty...



    As for the AKC standard....I thought dogs without white blazes were faulted...and dogs with a majority of their coat being white...
    At least thats what people would tell me about Jack.
    Not that it matters.
    In fact, it doesn't!
    I'm sure Misty is a very intelligent girl who brings you much joy!

    Oh my, a smooth coat border collie! What a treasure she is. A BC is my dream dog, although I don't believe I am smart enough to keep up with one.

    the only colour fault on a BC is lethal white, or nearly all white.

    Meant to post this sooner. Love the pics Misty is my type of dog and I'm not just saying that because she's a border collie...I think it's because she's black and white, love the black and white.
