I found this on livejournal:

He left Sunday to be part of the Washington police force after passing his test to see that he had what it takes to be a police dog! WOW!
He was going to be put to sleep in Ontario, and was instead pulled and went into foster with my rescue partner, Carina. We all knew right away this this was not a normal wonderful Pit Bull, but that he was an AMAZING Pit Bull! He was meant to be more than just a pet - his drive plus heart plus obedience plus unflappableness was so much more than we had ever seen in any dog. He is so soft with children, loves all new people, but his drive and focus for toys is very remarkable... I wanted badly to keep him as my own, but we all knew (especially Carina) that Neville was supposed to go to something bigger and better than playing ball in the yard.

He was accepted in right away after the police force met him!

Hopefully in a small way it will help drive a nail in the coffin about the debate on BSL in parts of Washington, and may help to shake up the results of the new bill in Canada that made owning a Pit Bull illegal and casued the death/selling to testing labs of so many highly adoptable bullies in the shelters and rescues...

HE WAS ON THE NEWS LAST NIGHT!!!

SO cool...

I am so grateful that Carina had the space in her livingroom and her heart to take in "just one more"!
