    Emma had her surgery today

Little rottie girl Emma had her surgery this morning, she's been spayed. All went fine, according to the vet; and she's at home now. I visited her this afternoon. She was awake when I arrived, but was very sleepy and dizzy. One time, she went out potty, but got nauseaus as soon as she got up, she threw up. Poor girl!!

I think she will sleep as much as possible today, and will hopefully do much better tomorrow.

    This was her this afternoon:

BTW, my mother had informed her vet about Emma showing the first signs of getting into heat, but he said she's not really in heat yet, and that there's no increased risk for a sugery atm, so they did it today. I hope he was right!

I am so glad she is fine. And yea- I guess she decided to cancel today. I usually give my dogs that ID ( intestinal diet) that you get at the vet their first night after surgery. Its easy to digest and if they dont want to eat it, they wont but at least it helps with the stomach gas that makes them feel sick. Another good one is a little raw egg. Maybe someone could pick up a can and you could give her like half of it later today.

Poor Emma girl. She looks so sad, but she's still adorable as ever. If she's anything like my girls, she'll be pretty much back to her regular self by sometime tomorrow.
