WOW! What a gorgeous photo! They are so elegant I've never had the pleasure of meeting a Zoi, but they look like such sweethearts
Ears up means "hunt"... I watch my dogs ears in the yard. My husband calls them turn signals- do I run left or right...
I love that picture!!! ( drooling!)
Will that photo change every week? Should know weather to keep coming back to this thread...
STILL AVAILABLE BY E-MAIL
yes it will change every week, but sometimes they keep the same picture for two weeks. The last one of galina was there for almost 2 and half weeks.
Unless the photo hasn't changed, then I'm probably viewing a different one. The one I'm looking at is really nice, though.
Here's couple images of Borzois I found a few weeks ago;

[Irish Setter]
OMG I love the second one!!!
And yes for today, the image is the same..
Wow! That really is a beautiful photo. Are Borzoi's fast like a Greyhound? They look like they have very delicate necks. Do they? I need to do some research on the breed. I really dont know anything about them. They sure are a beautiful breed, thats for sure.
Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

What a beautiful picture. It looks like it could have been taken near where you live as the area seems to be as beautiful as shots from your area. I am learning a lot about this breed through you. I had no idea they were so large. I will be paying extra special attention to the Borzois at Westminster this year.
A grayhound is better at a sprint, like a whippet would be against a grayhound, but a borzoi can run for miles- .. They use to use them for races but stopped because of the coat care and longer races- less per time frame. The more racing heats the better.Originally Posted by Jadapit
As far as a delicate neck- no way- its incrediably powerful- they can run up along side a wolf or cougar, and grab the neck of the animal going over 35 mph and slam on the breaks and snap the animals neck, but strong enough they do not injure themselves. You have to watch them as babies as the muscles develope, but after two, they are much stronger than you could remotely guess. Not only is their speed like lightening covering massive ground, but they are so agile to twist on a dime. My tri Femka has treed two bears, the second falling on her with a broken limb, the bear smacked in the shoulder as I am screaming for my husband, - in lightening fast, she twisted and bite the tar out of the bears lip tearing it sending the 200 pound plus bear back up the tree again...
