Wood Crafter - DOGS! & Cats and animals

I went to a crafting and art fair today. This one wood crafter is almost always there. This year he had one wall of various dog breeds, so I took loads of pics for you to see! And you can see some of his other works on the sides, as well. I couldn't get a good line for the cat works, but there were several. You can see them on the right on the lower photos. And I'll end with one seasonal item.

This is all natural wood colors, NO stains are used. The prices . . . you really DON'T want to know!

Of course, I took the bichon photo first.

Most of them are just groups.

    More coming!

Awesome stuff! I've seen similar work at a dog show down here - I wonder if it was the same guy and he travels or if they just do similar work?

Did you happen to get a business card or a web address???

We had something like that done of a duck in a frame for my father a few years ago. YOu treat it with lemon oil to keep the wood in nice condition. It's really pretty. Looks like a painting, but it is all pieced wood. WIll take a pic of it tomorrow (if I remember) when I'm up there.

Going back to the fair today (3.5 hours in 83 degrees wasn't enough ) and I'll see what I can get for info. Today is a high of 70, so it should be more enjoyable.

Exceptionally well done work. I especiallly like the rendition of the Corgi.

The cars I could see were nice too. What a nice present that would make for someone who had fond memories of his first car.
