    Unhappy RIP Autumn!

Autumn is at the Rainbow Bridge!

I had to rush Autumn to the vets, as she had been vomiting the last two days, was very lethargic, and had lost weight. When we got to the vets, we discovered that she had a huge mass that had overtaken her stomache. The vet told us there was nothing we could do. The mass was too dangerous to remove where it was and had spread to other organs. So we had no choice, but to put her down, as she was very clearly suffering. I am deeply saddened by this. It has all happened so fast! One minute she is fine, and the next she is gone.

RIP Autumn. Your family and your babies all miss you!
    Maggie,

Oh my gosh, Maggie!! I can't believe this! I am so very sorry.

    RIP Autumn.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I'm so terribly sorry about Autumn's passing. When it's unexpected and you think that you have more time w/them and they leave suddenly, it's so painful to those of us who are left to carry on w/out them. You did the last act of kindness for Autumn that you could and she took that love w/her where she'll nurture it until she's reunited w/you again. RIP, sweet Autumn and peace to you, Maggie.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Oh NO, I am SO sorry!

After losing Mocha, and the wee dark tabby.

She was just too young. What a sweet face she has.

Hugs and condolences to you...Autumn is free of pain, and at peace.

    But your heart will hurt for a long time. {{{{hugs}}}}

In a way, it's good that she didn't have her spay...as part of her will literally still be with you. I hope the kittens are ok.

Look for Mocha at the Bridge, baby Autumn...you will play and be happily together now. Please let your mom know you are fine.

Oh, sweet Autumn, so sad you had to leave us
So soon, but in your namesake season
While the colors are at their prettiest, like the sprinkles of
Autumn colors you bore in your pretty fur.
    Your sweetness will always linger
Like the scent of pie baking on a cool fall day
And in the soft morning mist of the season
We'll see a soft little hint of a cat whisper by
And know you're happy and free of pain

A picture tribute...I hope this is ok with you, CC.

August 7, 2007 - she arrives, guesstimated to be about 5 months old. Just too sweet and cute.

Getting a face grooming from big sis Mocha:

They apparently stayed like this for hours...Autumn was called Mocha's "Nursemaid and Pillow".

    Sleepy with doggy friend!

I'm so sorry! It just a few weeks ago we were looking at pics of her beautiful kittens. I'm thankful that you have the kittens to help you heal. I think you said you were keeping some of them. Prayers that Autumn has arrived at RB and is with Mocha again.

Absolutely Beautiful Karen! Thank you, autumn would have loved that.

Catty, thank you for the Pictures, very sweet. Oh how I had forgotten about the Christmas tree!

I cannot stop crying, I still cannot believe she is gone. Hubby Buried our sweet Autumn next to our Dear Mocha. Hopefully they have found eachother at the RB and are snuggling like old times.

I truly feel that Autumns Kittens were indeed her way of leaving a piece of her with us. They are very special to us.

Thank you all very much for your beautiful words.

    Unhappy I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry you've lost your baby girl, Maggie, I know the feeling well, but so young! It seems Autumn had a sister in spirit - my baby Pinot is almost exactly the same coloring, and her age is about a year and a half. I am new to PT, so I haven't followed your story, but I'm sure you gave her a loving home for her time on earth. Take comfort in knowing that, and in her gift to you of her love and her babies. Take care of them (and you) for her.

Pinot's Mom (another Maggie, by the way)
