Prayers for my Pidgelet, please! *Update 11/23*; she's losing weight; post #285

She's sneezing and wheezing and I'm not sure why. She's 18 1/2 so I don't want to take any chances w/her. I put a call in to Dr. Lee that I want to get her in there tomorrow, if not w/him, then another vet there. She's so sweet, has never had a sick day since I rescued her 16 years ago except for a paint allergy last year. She just is suddenly so lethargic. Too soon for another kitty to get sick after Puddy's passing. I'm nervous but doing my best to stay positive.

ETA: I'm so stressed, I posted this somewhere else. Sorry.

I was going to ask you how her fur situation was now that it had grown back in.

I hope she just has a wee cold that can be easily treated.

    {{{{hugs}}}}...prayers. Keep the faythe.

Pidgelet, don't scare your mommie now. Prayers for you both that it is just a passing sniffle.

Poor Pidgelet! It is the time for leaf mold allergies to kick in ... I hope it's something simple and easily fixed.

She's doing fine since the lion cut. She still hates being brushed, though. I get bitten repeatedly, not hard enough to break the skin but firmly enough that I know she means business. She's just sniffling like crazy now and sounds really congested. She's just got the sweetest temperament (except for the grooming thing, LOL) and she hardly even ever meows. She's so unobtrusive and I could tell from the very beginning that she's just thankful to have a home. I hope she sleeps well tonight because I doubt that I will. Thanx for your prayers, friends.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Awe, sweet Pidgie, I hope you start to feel better. Maybe it's just the change in the weather and there are more allergens in the air. Could be that after she had the allergic reaction last year it's making her more prone to allergens now?

((((HUGS))))) to you Mary, and thoughts and prayers going up for Pidgelet.

I will be thinking of Pidge and hoping it's just the sniffles and she'll be fine.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

What a gorgeous girl she is! I hope these sniffles are just a passing thing. Prayers that Dr. Lee or the other vet will find out the cause.
