    Happy Delta Day....pics

We do not celebrate St. Patrick's Day; we celebrate Delta day....the day we finally got him back after his month long disappearance! It's been three years today!

He was not impressed with me disturbing his nap!

They squabble like human siblings, but I know Antare is also glad his brother made it home!

Delta was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few months ago. The mobile vet came to see him yesterday for bloodwork. It's way too much to take Delta to the clinic, so his vet comes to him! I brought him inside a bit early so he could settle down before she arrived.

"I'm allowed up here, right? I've seen other dogs here."

"Oh, this is nice! No wonder the other dogs go up here!"
He's never ever gone near the furniture before. He's the only timid dog in the yard who has never really come out of his shell, but occasionally he gives me hope that he might make more progress yet!

My big, handsome fella. I'm so glad he made it home in one piece!
If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you must find the courage to live it.

    Happy Delta Day, DELTA!

Gosh, such lovely photos of such a handsome fellow. He looks so comfy on the sofa! He may want to become an inside resident, knowing what he knows NOW!

I still remember the time he "took a powder" and wandered the woods for days on end. I also remember how happy you were when he returned!

And a Happie Delta Day to you, too, Delta!

That sure was a "ruff" month for all of us on PT when you 'took a hike'
and forgot to come home for supper.

It's goood that we have a Holly-DAY to celebrate your return to the Pack!

    HAPPY DELTA DAY!!!!

How can we ever forget that sad time here at PT? I remember it well. I always had a gut feeling that he would come home. It was truly a miracle when he did. He is one big handsome fella alright. I can see some attitude going on there for sure. Great pics, Mom!!
