Oh My! As I first started reading the article, I thought maybe the dog jumped out of the back of the truck and she hadn't noticed. But the lady tied him to the back of the car and drove off. What she thought the dog was going to run behind her as she drove! (I am trying to refrain from using bad language)

This was no accident! How cruel of her!

I have signed the petition and forwarded it on to a few people I know.

    Oh poor Snow
I signed--I don't think an Akita was the right breed for her, and hoopefully she won't ever be able to get another animal.

I was confused as well--did she have the dog tied up with an extension cord????

She said she couldn't lift the dog into the car and he would not go willingly so she tied the dog to the car and drove slowly to the shelter. I don't know what her version of slowly is....

I signed also. I think it is just awful what she done to this poor dog. Looks like she could have called someone to help her take the dog to the shelter

This is just horrible! That was no accident...nobody in the right mind would tie up a dog with an extension cord then drive!

Akitas can be great dogs, but they are NOT for everyone....especially not that woman!! Any dog can become aggressive if not trained properly, and an akita is really not a dog you would want to leave untrained!

    Poor Snow!!
