I finally got my present....well okay I got it a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't been living at home so I didn't get a chance to open it. I finally went home today and so here are the pics.....

Thanks a lot GoldenRetrLuver!!!! The shelties and I loved everything.

A note from Julie.....and what's that....okay like I need any more hair in my house LOL Molly's hair would have just blended right into Em's....(go figure)....


A close up of the loot....the shelties ended up with a bag of snausage treats, a bag of training treats, 2 peanut butter flavored tennis balls, a tennis ball on a strap, a soft squeekie toy, a small floppy disc and a treat ball made by kong. I got a sheltie magazine, a sheltie weekly planner, a sheltie calander and a really nice picture frame.


Here are some funny pics I took (or well tried to take) of them catching treats. Emily doesn't like the camera (which explains why the rest of the pics are only of Clipse) so I only got one of her and she was too close to the flash. I began to get the hang of it with Clipse, but I didn't want them to gorge on treats so we'll try again another day.

I forgot about Clipse's funny trick that he does with kongs. He doesn't try to chew/lick the treats out like Emily and most other dogs I know do. Instead he picks it up and throws it on the ground to jar the treats stuck inside loose. And of course that's just what he did with the kong ball....

LOL Nebo does the same thing (though he licks too)...sometimes he chucks it down the stairs!

Yay! I'm so glad it finally got there! I'm glad everyone liked everything! Sorry about the box LOL. The calendar *barely* fit in there.

As for his coat..... mwahahahahahahahahaha!! That's just the flash. He is so disgusting right now. He hasn't had a bath since Feb 28 I haven't been home much lately so I haven't been able to take him to work. He is in desperate need of a head trim and feet trim as well......

Hehe well he still looks great in the pics, they both do! Nebo hadn't had a bath since February either but I just bathed him last week, I love how much softer they feel after a good bath.

I usually bath mine every 4 weeks so this is really bad for them.
They are so gross I can't even stand to pet them. I really need to get them into work. I probably should have brought them in today (the shop is closed Sundays and Mondays) and done them but we chose to go play with labs instead, LOL
I don't brush my dogs between baths, so Clipse is getting pretty packed as well.

I really don't brush Nebo much between baths either. I just have one brush at home and it's not a very good one. I don't bath him every month because he doesn't usually need it, he doesn't have a doggy odor and dirt sheds off his coat easily...sometimes I'll bring him in just to blow out his coat and brush him with the nice brushes. I try to bath him about every 6 weeks but I was a bit delayed lol.

But shelties have a much longer and thicker coat than a husky though, so I can imagine them being really in need of a brushing and bathing! I hate when dogs get that nasty feel to their coat! I'm sure they'll look even more gorgeous when they've had a bath!
